Petra joined the village community of Mindon when she was unexpectedly left a cottage by an old friend of her mother’s. Feeling immediately at home she is made welcome by the local residents — in particular by the Mindon Amateur Dramatic Society. The ambitious decision had been made to put on A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Petra, to her delight, is put in charge of the scenery.
