Halleran, E., E.
E. E. Halleran was born in Wildwood, New Jersey. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, and then went on to earn a Master's degree in Education. After this, he worked as a teacher of social studies and began publishing Western stories in magazines and feature articles about Western American history. His stories are meticulously researched with notable accuracy, both as to the period in which they are set and are often populated by historical personalities. His novel Indian Fighter won a Spur Award as Best Western Historical Novel from the Western Writers of America.
